My laptop's been slowly dying for awhile, but just this past weekend it up and finally gave up on life. (Through some creative and fast help of some of my friends I still have it working to where I can access most of my files and some internet sites though!) I've already ordered a new laptop (nearly bankrupting myself in the process sob) and it's got some really good specs and stuff and I'm excited, buuuuuut...
I've been having a difficult time deciding what to take with me. ;; File-wise. I've got a dropbox and like one flashdrive, but past that, really my only method of grabbing shit would be to email it to myself. Dropbox is full of music and some absolutely necessary writing/drawing files, but I'm gonna be losing a lot of stuff in this process. (nobody remind me of the fonts i'll lose, otherwise i'll start sobbing)
It's a rough time. ;; I've already lost most of my firefox data too, which had a long list of stuff to read/research/listen to and REACTION IMAGES MY BETA MADE FOR ME /sobs in a corner
BUT even worse is that THIS PAST WEEK I HAVE BEEN WANTING NOTHING MORE THAN TO DRAW. LIKE SERIOUSLY. But even just plugging in my tablet causes my laptop to crash, and it can't really run more than one program at a time anyway, so it'd probably throw a hissy fit with something like gimp. My life is utter tragedy.
If I'm still in one piece after transferring what I could grab (seriously it's like the titanic's sinking and i'm trying to grab suitcases but i can only take two and then I HAVE TO WATCH AS THE REST GOES DOWN) I'm gonna have a drawing stream. It'll have lots of neon and magical girls and runes as therapy. ;w; Probably sometime early next week. Look forward to it.
(also my sub is running out and i feel like i haven't properly utilized it whoops I GUESS IT'S TIME TO MAKE MORE POLLS)

okay, honestly this has been a long time coming, since dA's writing features suck ass and not even in a fun way. i've been fairly vocal about how much i dislike dA's writing support as far as uploading and stuff goes (can you say RE-INPUT ITALICS BY HAND) and honestly, as you can probably tell, i'm using dA less and less. it's not my fave site haha.
i'll still be uploading art pieces onto here (though i haven't been drawing as much lately, due to less time and an actual capitalist job!), for the time being. ideally, at some point in the future when i can get off my ass to do so, i'll make an "official" skitty tumblr to post my art + writing

For those of you who haven't heard of patreon, it's basically like a kickstarter, except over time and not necessarily for specific, one-time things. In my case, it's for writing! You can pledge any amount you choose, and by default it's a monthly recurring thing, but you can cancel after the month to make it a one-time thing! There are individual and overall reward tiers, you can cancel at any time, it's a super neat thing, etc. (one of the overall rewards is me finally doing a webcomic for that hell or high water script i wrote ages ago)

HELLO AGAIN FRIENDS OF MINE! So, the sunday stream went well overall, and the wednesday stream went well until WE COULDN'T FINISH IT. Twitch had some sort of server issue and would not let me broadcast the end. I was literally at the final boss. Its timing couldn't have been worse. :C
So I will be having a stream of JUST THE ENDINGS plus the spinOFF game C?L?U?E?L?E?S?S! This would be a shorter stream, probably like two hours total. The endings don't take long and Clueless isn't very long either. (Unfortunately, this is another not-blind playthrough. But I have a ton of other spinOFF games that would be blind! Plus, nuzlockes in the future.)

You could use an online backup service to save your stuff. A lot of them have free trial periods. Carbonite has unlimited free space for 15 days, which should be enough to drag everything over. www.carbonite.com/online-backu…
